Vizsla is
also called the Hungarian Pointer. At the end of World War I, the
Vizsla
was all but extinct. The importation of the breed into the United
States began in the 1950s. The breed was admitted into the American
Kennel Club in 1960. |

for the CVC 2010 Fall Field Trial October 1 - 3, 2010!
CVC's Annual Fall Field Trial will be held October 1 - 3, 2010 at the
beautiful Indian Springs Wildlife Management Area in Clear Springs MD.

brand new travelling trophy awarded to the winner of the Hunting Dog
Championship in honor and memory of Linda Pruitt's beloved
Hunter! We welcome all,
especially hunters and hunt test enthusiasts, to come try your hand
(paw?) at winning this fabulous new trophy!

The 2010
CVC Spring Field Trial scheduled for March 12, 13 and 14, 2010 at the
C.F. Phelps WMA in Sumerduck, VA was cancelled due to wet
conditions from the continuing snow melt from the February
blizzards.
The 2009 CVC Fall Field Trial was held October 3-4, 2009 at the
Indian Springs WMA in Clear Spring, MD. Results can be viewed below and
on the menu to the right.
The premiums, running orders and results for our field trials are
posted on
this site as they become available. They may be viewed and downloaded
by clicking
on the links in the menu to the right of this page once posted.
