The Vizsla is
also called the Hungarian Pointer. At the end of World War I, the
Vizsla
was all but extinct. The importation of the breed into the United
States began in the 1950s. The breed was admitted into the American
Kennel Club in 1960.
The CVC 2010 Spring Hunt Tests will be held May 1 and 2, 2010 at
Strawberry Hill Farm in Thurmont, VA. Premiums will be posted
when available. The Event Chair is Mike Johnson (mikeandcarolynj@verizon.net),
and the Event Secretary is India Fuller Cox (india1405@verizon.net).
The CVC 2010 Fall Hunt Tests will be held in November or December,
2010, in combination with the annual Holiday Party and Annual
Membership Meeting. Location and dates to be determined.
