The Vizsla is
also called the Hungarian Pointer. At the end of World War I, the
Vizsla was all but extinct. The importation of the breed into the
United States began in the 1950s. The breed was admitted into the
American Kennel Club in 1960.
The CVC 2010 Spring Hunt Tests
originally scheduled for May 1 and 2, 2010 at
Strawberry Hill Farm in Thurmont, VA have been cancelled due to
insufficient entries. The CVC 2010
Fall Hunt Tests will be held in December
2010, in combination with the annual Holiday Party and Annual
Membership Meeting. Location and dates to be determined.
The Event Chair is India Fuller Cox (india1405@verizon.net), and
the Secretary is Mike Johnson (mikeandcarolynj@verizon.net).

12 and 13, 2009 at the Shady Grove Kennel and Hunting Preserve in
