Facts |
| The Vizsla is
also called the Hungarian Pointer. At the end of World War I, the Vizsla
was all but extinct. The importation of the breed into the United
States began in the 1950s. The breed was admitted into the American
Kennel Club in 1960. |

Fun Day Rescheduled! The 2008
CVC annual Fun Day has been rescheduled for Sunday July 20, 2008,
at the Carroll County Park grounds adjacent to the Carroll County Farm
Museum in
Westminster, MD. Click the Fun Day link on the menu to the left or the link on the Event Calendar for more info!
The CVC 2008 Specialty was held Saturday, June 28, 2008, at the Charles County Fairgrounds, Bel Alton, Maryland. See 2008 CVC Specialty Results. Thanks to all who helped make this event such a success!
The CVC Spring Hunt Test was held April 5-6, 2008 at Strawberry Hill
Farm, Thurmont, MD. You can view information about the hunt test by
clicking the links on the menu to the right.
