The
Vizsla is
also called the Hungarian Pointer. At the end of World War I, the
Vizsla
was all but extinct. The importation of the breed into the United
States began in the 1950s. The breed was admitted into the American
Kennel Club in 1960.
To become a member of the CVC, you must be sponsored by a member in
good standing.
We have two types of paid memberships
available:
Family - $30/yr dues
Single - $25/yr dues
Membership
in the Conestoga Vizsla Club, Inc. entitles each member to a voice in
all Club
policies and a vote in all Club elections (Family, two votes; Single,
one vote). The Club year runs from January
through
December. Membership includes a subscription to the CVC Newsletter
(published quarterly), mailed in
B&W hard-copy when published, and available online on this web site
in full color.
