Dear Fellow Field  Trialers,

As many of you have heard, the state of Virginia is not permitting dog events on state grounds for the rest of 2020.  There is no guarantee that events will be permitted in 2021 either.  Fortunately at this time events are permitted on private land.   Kathy Shannon has agreed to let us use her farm at Slate River in Dillwyn for our trial.  Her club is also hosting a hunt test the same weekend.   She has extended her available fields to accommodate both events.  With our trial starting on Friday, we should be well underway before the weekend.

The revised premium is attached.  All the earlier listed judges are up for the change in venue.

The clubhouse may not be available for our use so we may be unable to provide breakfast and lunch.  We will have coffee and  donuts.  We'll keep the cooler full of water.

We'll see what will work out as far as making up sandwiches ahead but everyone had probably be prepared to bring their own.

We hope to have the judges' dinner outside on Saturday night.  Advance reservations are required.

Al Underwood is on track as our wrangler.

In addition to the motels listed there is a B&B nearby.  It sounds like a great place if a group wants to get together to rent it.  

Remember to bring your masks and hand sanitizer. Avoid congregating in groups of more than 10.
